We arrived in the very modern and car friendly Bilbao around 12 am. This city is the Silicon Valley of Spain and is booming ever since the Guggenheim museum opened „Guggenheim-effect“. In there we found a very interesting exhibition of contemporary art. 10/10 would visit again! The downside of the city design and city growth of the past 20 years, lead to an inescapable presence of cars all around the city, even the pedestrian zone is divided by a car lane.
In the late afternoon, we drove 3 hours to our campsite at the coast of Gijón. Lunch: ice cream, cold spaghetti; Dinner: pasta.
