After more than 2 hours of packing and removing 25% again, in order to fit our two surf buddies into the car, we drove off from Erlangen. Since our car was fully stuffed, our two passengers were each only allowed to take one medium-sized backpack. After 10 hours on the road and few traffic jams, we arrived at the motel in Orleans, also known as „New Orleans“, around 10pm.
